New Beginnings is a piece that is meant to remind folks that it's not just “water is life”; every living being is life. Without our first ancestors' and elders' teachings, we wouldn’t be where we are today. The piece itself is part of what my community uses for ceremony/medicine, and fire plays a key role in all of it, whether for cooking, smudging, or healing.
